The Lost Coast is very windy

I tried taking some pictures of the ocean through
my polarized sunglasses because the many shades of
blue were fantastic... the results, not so much
Sponge? Coral? Something?
Sea urchin... I'll be spending a lot more time
trying to perfect this photo
I think this quail did have a full complement of legs
maybe he's grooming his feathery butt
Wild turkey being chased by a blackbird
(evidence of) black bears on the beach!
